Sharon Breon, 64, Ottumwa
OTTUMWA — Sharon Jane Breon, 64, of 910 W. Second St., died at 4:40
p.m. May 2, 2006, at Hospice House.
She was born October 8, 1941 in Ottumwa to Roy and Velma Myers Bachman.
She married Gary A. Breon on May 14, 1960. He preceded her in death
January 1, 1995.
A resident of Ottumwa most of her life, she had worked for 16 years at
Southside Drug, retiring November 2003. She enjoyed being part of the
reunion committee for Ottumwa High School class of 1959.
Surviving is a daughter, Jayne (Brad) Peck of Ottumwa; a son, Jon Breon
of Ottumwa; a grandson, Sgt. Robert Glenn Olinger, who is assigned to
the Muscatine Armory; and a brother, Richard (Marsha) Bachman of
Grinnell.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Jean Lawson.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with
Rev. Loyd Osborn officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
Inurnment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will begin 10 a.m. Friday with the family present from 7 to
8:30 p.m. Friday.
A memorial has been established to Hospice House, 312 E. Alta Vista,
Ottumwa, IA 52501. |
