OTTUMWA - Leonard M. "Lenny" Rifenberry, 64, of 315 Randolph, died
July 6, 2004 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
He was born Aug. 17,
1939 to Jesse and Ida Mae Calvert Rifenberry at Ottumwa. He married
Katherine Ball April 16, 1960 at Ottumwa.
He was a 1959 graduate of Ottumwa High School. He had been employed
with Amana Refrigeration and Concrete Materials and retired from
Ottumwa Parks Department after 35 1/2 years.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Jeannie Rifenberry of Ottumwa;
brother, John Rifenberry of Ottumwa; two nephews; and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two step fathers; and
numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Robertson-Jay Funereal
Home with Pastor Matthew Andersen officiating. The body will be
cremated following services.
Visitation was, 9 a.m. Wednesday July 7th, at the
funeral home with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. In lieu of
flowers memorials may be made to the family. |
