John Henry McNutt, 65, Ottumwa OTTUMWA — John Henry McNutt was born Aug. 3, 1941, in Ada, Okla., to Mable (Pate) and John Hugh McNutt. He lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on July 4, 2007, in Plano, Texas. He married Dorothy Muchow Nov. 17, 1961, in Lancaster, Mo. He was self employed. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy McNutt of Little Elm, Texas; sons, Brian McNutt and his wife, Kim, of Dacula, Ga., and Chris McNutt and his wife, Barbara, of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Derek, Samantha, Ryan and Nathan McNutt; father, John Hugh McNutt of Booneville, Ark.; brothers, Stan McNutt of Tulsa, Okla., and Robert McNutt of Boonville, Ark.; eight nieces and nephews; two stepgrandchildren, Tara Thompson and Nicole Sinninghe; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Dale McNutt and his mother, Mable McNutt. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2007, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Altus, Ark. Family and friends are invited to the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas, at their convenience today, July 7. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
